1. Can I choose my own domain name?

A: Yes, when you sign up - tell us your preferred domain name and if it is available we will use this name. If your preferred name is not available we will be able to give you a list of alternatives which closely match your original choice.

2. I already have an existing website that needs improving can this be done?

A: Yes, if you let us know the website address and some information on how you would like the site improving, we can give you a free estimate for updating your existing site.

3. I already have my own my own domain name, how do I use this with a Bundle website?

A: We normally advise you to keep your original domain name and keep it with your current hosting company. With all our web design packages a new domain name is provided. We will link your current domain name to the new domain name that we provide. When your customers go to your existing domain name your new website will be displayed.

4. How long does it take to produce a website?

A: Our standard websites take two to three days to design. Premium and E-commerce sites generally take a few weeks. Custom websites may take up to a month.

5. What if I do not like what is produced?

A: We do everything we can to ensure you get the website you want. With the Standard, Ecommerce and Premium website packages we normally base the site on an existing template. This way you will have a fair idea of the final look before we start the site. If you are not satisfied when the site is complete, one of our designers will discuss the enhancements you require and modify the site to your requirements. If the modifications are deemed to be outside of the original contracted design a small design fee may be applicable. With the Custom website package, we prepare a detailed requirement document before any design work is carried out. This ensures that you, the customer, have a clear definition of the site before we do any design work. Again, if you are not satisfied when the site is complete, one of our designers will discuss the enhancements you require and modify the site to your requirements. If the modifications are deemed to be outside of the original contracted requirement document a further design fee may be applicable

6. Where is the site hosted?

A: We use various companies to host our websites all based it the UK. Easyspace and PlugSocket are two of the companies we regularly use.

7. Can I host the site with a different hosting company to the one you use?

A: If you are paying monthly on going payments we do not allow hosting on servers other than our chosen hosts. If you are paying over 10 months, after the site is fully paid for we can transfer the site contents and/or the domain name to a different hosting company. There is a fee of £65 + vat incurred if you wish to do this.If you are making a one-off payment for your website design, we can use your chosen hosting company for the site contents and/or the domain name from the outset

8. What is the reliability or uptime?

A: Our hosting companies we use quote a 99.9% uptime, meaning that the site should be available on line for at least 99.9% of the time.

9. How do I know how many hits or visits my site has had?

A: All our sites include comprehensive statistics showing how many visitors have browsed the site. You can access this information using a password that we provide with the site.

10. How can I increase the number of visitors to my website?

A: This is probably the most asked question and there is no simple answer. One effective way is to advertise your site on a search engine such as Google. Google have an add word facility allowing you to construct an advert within their search engine. These adverts cost as little or as much as you want and can be very effective. At Bundle we do not offer this kind of service as a part of our standard packages, but may be able to provide some optimisation on an idividual basis, and we would provide a seperate quote for this kind of work. Another way to increase hits is by using non-internet methods. Change all of your company's letterheads, business cards etc so that the domain name is in a prominent place. In all of your advertising do the same. Change the name of your company to that of your domain name. If you have a shop, put the domain name in the window. All emails you send, put the domain name in a prominent place.

12. Can you guarantee people will visit my site?

A: No, we cannot. More and more businesses are using the internet. The competition to get customers onto websites is growing. We cannot guarantee a single hit, but read the answer above for help.

13. How do I put new information onto my site?

A: When we set up your website, we give you an administration password. Each site has an administration button. Click on the administration button (normally at the bottom of each page) and a window will open. Enter the administration password into the box. You will then be taken to the administration section of the website. Note that this is not available to internet users, it can only be accessed by using the password. For this reason it is crucial to keep the password secret. In the administration page there is a panel on the left hand side of the screen. Each page on the site is listed here and can be modified by clicking on the appropriate page, enter new text in the right hand window, click "upload" and the site is updated.

14. What if I want modifications to the site design at a later date?

A: If you are paying using the monthly on-going option, you receive free website updates at any time (subject to the terms and conditions of the contract). You are given 10 design credits per year. Each credit is worth one hour of web design activity. Once you have used your credits, website updates can still be carried out at our normal rates. All websites can be re-visited and modified in the future. Our web design rates are very reasonable. Call the number below for details.

15. What support do you offer?

A: You can email us at any time at support@bundlewebsites.co.uk You can also click the Contact Us page and post a customer query. We respond with a detailed answer within 24 hours. Our support line is open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. You can call us for help with any query. If you reach our answer service, leave us your details and we will call you back as soon as we can. Websites purchased with the on-going payment method receive 10 hours of free support per year. With the other payment methods, you can contact us at any time and we will give you a free quotation for any support you may require. We are dedicated to our customers satisfaction and are open to new suggestions to improve our quality of service

16. Is there a minimum term for the on-going monthly payment scheme?

A: Yes, 12 months. Once you have made 12 monthly payments, if you no longer require the website, you can terminate the contract and we remove the website from the internet. If after 12 months you do still require the site, you just continue to pay the monthly payments.
